Hey everyone, my name is Jen! Proud owner and stylist at Velvet Oak Salon and Spa. Born and raised in Carroll, Iowa, but an adventurer at heart. I landed in Minneapolis at the Aveda Institute and graduated in 2011. Since then, I have worked in salons nationwide as an active stylist.
I am passionate about all things hair, though I specialize in cuts and anything that's challenging! As a highly trained stylist, I am up for any change you want - cut or color.

What do I love outside of work? You can find me relaxing at home with my dogs, reading a great book or listening to music surrounded by plants. Traveling and having new experiences are my favorite hobbies with my friends + family, who are my world. I can't wait to learn more about you and your hair goals!
